Your resistance will always be the same, regardless of how many pedal revolutions you perform each minute. An editor allows you to tailor an individual training program to your specific requirements at any time. In addition, this model impresses with all the additional benefits of the KETTLER TOUR ergometers.
ERGOMETERS: If you have more ambitious training goals and want to use your performance regularly and with endurance, you will quickly reach the limits of a magnetic braking system. An ergometer is then a more suitable choice for you. In most cases, the flywheel is electronically braked by an induction system. This allows you to increase the resistance up to 400 watts, which allows you to take on the training challenge at very sporty levels.
On modern on-board systems, you can set the resistance in manual mode depending on the rotation speed and in automatic mode also independently of the rotation speed: The resistance then always remains at the same value in watts, i.e. always as strict, whether you pedal slowly or quickly. This is ideal for therapeutic training at a defined number of watts. For example, it may be that you should not stress your knee with more than 100 watts due to an injury. Only an ergometer gives you this information.
With an ergometer, training can therefore be measured, compared and reproduced. In addition, the on-board computers offer you a multitude of sports training modes, the most important values of which you can monitor in real time.
